Dual Language Immersion
English:
Hi Noah, Do you want to play?
Spanish:
Si, yo quiero juegar contigo
Here at Little Discoverers daycare we teach the children both English and Spanish. Whether they speak it at home or starting from scratch, we teach them both in speaking, listening, reading, and writing as well. Our little discoverers, when learning in our dual language program, will gain cognitive pattern recognition skills, improved attention skills, and better problem solving skills. A child willing to learn other languages will have more open doors academically, socially, and culturally.

Montessori

Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian physician and educator, set the path for children to lead their curiosity and interests when learning something new at their pace. While caring for children in the Casa dei Bambini she was able to develop a learning method for young children that has shown to be beneficial for a child’s development. Such benefits include: self-discipline, creative and critical thinking, self-motivated learners, social and problem-solving skills. Overall, the Montessori Method has its core values in Hands-On Learning, prepared environment, individual approach, respect for the child, and independence. “Help me DO it myself.
